Product Introduction
This vertical-spindle rotary table surface grinder is an ultra-efficient surface grinder for grinding wheel end faces. Its control system utilizes a PLC+HMI model, combining a programmable controller (PLC) with a human-machine interface (HMI). The PLC performs logic operations, sequence control, timing, counting, and arithmetic calculations, and controls various types of machinery or production processes through digital and analog input and output. The HMI facilitates communication between the operator and the control system.
The machine's layout features a circular electromagnetic table that rotates the workpiece. The electromagnetic table is mounted on a saddle, which is driven by a reduction motor controlled by a frequency converter. The saddle reciprocates along the bed's guide rails, facilitating workpiece loading and unloading. The column is connected to the bed using a three-point adjustment mechanism for adjustable head angle, allowing for grinding of concave or convex surfaces on disc-shaped workpieces. The grinding head moves up and down along a column guide rail, driven vertically by a ball screw driven by an AC servo motor connected to a reduction mechanism. The grinding head spindle is driven by a waterproof, built-in, dedicated high-power motor, providing strong cutting performance. The grinding wheel utilizes a combination of multiple abrasive tiles evenly distributed around the circumference, or a cylindrical grinding wheel, to achieve high workpiece grinding. A dresser on the grinding head allows for the dressing of the grinding wheel/scratches. The grinding head shaft bearings utilize high-precision angular contact bearings, ensuring high accuracy, performance, and stability. The machine tool castings are constructed from high-quality HT300 cast iron using a resin sand casting process and annealing for stress relief, resulting in a stable structure and excellent manufacturability. This machine features strong rigidity and high stability, enabling it to grind large and interrupted surfaces on circular or rectangular workpiece ends, while offering significant efficiency. This series of grinding machines is widely used in various industries, including refractory materials, air conditioner cylinder blocks, stone, automobiles, tractors, bearings, valves, saw blades, and glass. Suitable materials for grinding include various carbon steels, alloy steels, refractory bricks, ceramics, crystal, quartz, stone, glass, and other non-magnetic materials.
