Model Selection Guide
The standard models are suitable for general rotary surface grinding applications and medium-size workpieces, while the gantry-type models are designed for larger diameters, heavier loads, and more demanding heavy-duty grinding tasks. With worktable diameters ranging from 400 mm to 2500 mm, this series can support a wide variety of precision grinding applications across multiple industries.
Features Of Horizontal Spindle Rotary Grinder
All major machine components, including the base, saddle, column, and spindle housing, are optimized through numerical simulation and finite element analysis. This high-rigidity structure helps minimize deformation during operation and ensures excellent overall stability.
The machine adopts a high-rigidity hydrostatic rotary table with static rigidity of at least 400 kg/μm. This design ensures smooth table rotation, stable workpiece support, and consistent grinding performance.
The hydrostatic rotary table drive system is equipped with an accumulator, which helps prevent contact wear caused by sudden power failure or pressure loss. This improves operational safety and extends table service life.
The Y and Z axes use high-precision roller-type linear guideways and high-accuracy ball screws. Backlash is eliminated through preload, while screw tail-end pre-tension further enhances transmission rigidity and positioning accuracy.
The CNC system is integrated with specially developed grinding software featuring rich functions, simple operation, and a clear interface. Combined with teach-in programming, it enables operators to set up and run grinding processes efficiently.
1. High-Precision Bearing Spindle CP4 ultra-precision angular contact ball bearings are strictly assembled in a constant-temperature, dust-free environment, with runout controlled within 1 μm. Supported by a high-rigidity double-wall column and spindle housing, and combined with precise preloaded linear guides, the spindle system provides excellent grinding rigidity, stable cutting performance, and high machining accuracy. The maintenance-free design also helps reduce daily service requirements.
2. Hydrostatic Rotary Table
The hydrostatic rotary table offers high precision, high rigidity, strong vibration resistance, high load capacity, and long service life. It helps ensure excellent surface quality and stable workpiece support during grinding. The table angle can be tilted and adjusted to meet different processing requirements, making this horizontal spindle rotary surface grinder more adaptable to various workpieces.
3. CNC Controller
The CNC controller is equipped with specially designed rotary table grinding software that offers rich functions, simple operation, and a clean, user-friendly interface. Combined with teach-in input, the system allows operators to program machining processes easily and efficiently, improving usability for both routine production and precision grinding applications.
4. Lubrication System
SKF lubrication system is applied to all sliding and rotating parts, providing point-to-point, timed, and measured automatic lubrication for all lubrication points inside the machine. It features oil shortage and pressure loss alarm functions, helping maintain stable machine operation and improve component reliability over long-term use.
